Introducing the SL-C concept. The Varial X is known for C-Kite performance on a 4 line high depower platform, the SL-C has been designed with a C shape arc outline for direct response and great unhooking characteristics while the swept back wingtips and V3 bridle give great range and relaunch capabilities. This year, the Varial X has extended from offering predictability, depower and 4 line ease of use with an increased focus on unhook, pop and boosting characteristics. An important part to its improvement, the Varial X design has added even more structural support to greatly maximize the direct feel and performance. Ideal for riders with aggressive handling in the waves, freestyle and freeride, the Varial X will give you that C kite feel that you have been looking for in an SLE design.

Se encuentra en todos los modelos de cometas Airush 2013 ( con excepción de la Razor), el sistema de bridaje V3 no sólo añade los beneficios de seguridad, sino que aumenta las prestaciones y tacto de la cometa. La posición de los puntos de anclaje del bridaje, combinado con las poleas V3, nos da un depower con mucha respuesta y suavidad. Esto permite que la presión de barra sea muy cómoda, pero lo suficientemente directa para sentir la cometa. También consigue que la cometa se maneje muy bien aunque esté totalmente depotenciada.
El SL-C está dedicada a aquellos riders que quieren las prestaciones que se encuentran en una cometa de cuatro líneas y un gran depower. El concepto SL-C nos da un arco de forma C, que nos entrega mayor giro, respuesta directa y mejor relanzamiento.

The Varial X is set up in between the Lithium and the Razor, for riders who want a bit more unhooked performance but are not ready to commit to the difficult relaunch / lower wind range of a typical full C kite.
I would recommend as with most kites, If you ride with the bar relaxed 100-150mm (4″- 6″) away from your quick release (or chicken loop), you could probably tie an extra knot ABOVE the standard setting on the pigtail, this will give you faster turning and a bit more power.
On the other hand, if you ride with your bar fully sheeted in resting against your quick release (or chicken loop), you could probably tie an extra knot below the standard setting on the rear pigtail. This will help when unhooking and reduce back stall when kiting in light winds.
